I went to the office yesterday around 3:30pm. The sky was dark with a forebording look. Twenty minutes later, hail began to fall. It sounded like the roof was going to collapse. I ran outside to my internal combustion machine and drove it inside the plant to protect it from the falling golf-ball sized hail. It was comedic. The hail hurt like crazy bouncing off my thick skull. Speaking of ice brings my thoughts to ice hockey. We don't play ice hockey here in the South. Sure, we had the Flames and now we have the thrashers, but kids growing up in the South don't play ice hockey. I have a lot of respect for hockey players. They seem to be very tough, well-conditioned athletes.
The women's NCAA ice hockey final four are Harvard 32-1, Wisconsin 28-6-4, Minnesota Duluth 32-4-1, and New Hampshire 33-3-1.
