thumped

Totally bummed. We've lost seven in a row to the state rival. We beat one team with a winning record. Kinda hoping for a coaching change. Still not convinced that the current coach had any drive to win. His defenders talk about what a brilliant offensive mind he has. He coaches as though he's afraid of the endzone. Slow to adjust, slower to admit a mistake.
Now the thrust to fulfill Christmas wish lists is upon us. Despite not being a shopper, it's a rush getting in the mix of it all. It's over here, it's over there. Dashing about and spilling fossil fuel all over creation. Crunch time for the procrastinators. We were hoping for a 900% increase in sales but only got 750%. We're only going to invite 2500 to the after Christmas party. Times are hard. Spend it all now. Though it's not written in stone, they say the dead don't take credit cards.
Saturday was really a beautiful day. The cold is here and it's not backing down.

Thanks very much for the visit. Crunch time at work. Every Christmas and week before July 4th we try to cram in as much work as possible to cover the vacation pay. Busy, busy, busy. Also, the boss is very sick. He had a heart attack, mild compared to the fatal ones, and hasn't worked much in the past eight weeks.
Also, this time of year I coach a youth league basketball team. It's about my fifth year doing it and each year I'm surprised by how much enjoyment and excitement that I get out of it. Life is good. :)

Well, hope your boss gets well soon. As for yourself, am glad to see you enjoying yourself as much as you are working overtime. Have a good Christmas this year, be sure to buy some gifts for your loved ones. They would appreciate it tonnes. :)

Heck yeah. Finetune.com I spent so much time trying to imbed it here ...but well worth it. I'm not much of a tech person. I love my player though. 45 songs to a playlist. I've made three so far, as you can see.
